Students will have special interests and hobbies. It is important to give them access to materials that encourage this. A mini-library full of books about their interests as well as things being studied should be created. Rotate books out and add new ones as they finish with them, or interests change. Take this opportunity to encourage self-motivated learning.

One-on-one attention, the ability to use alternative learning approaches, and specialized accommodations are all benefits of homeschooling.
